Jeremy Weller was invited by Anders Skovbjerg Jepsen and the producers at Final Cut for Real to serve as dramaturge during the development of this debut feature.
The film follows director Anders Skovbjerg Jepsen as he seeks out his childhood friend who sexually abused him when they were both children. When the friend hesitantly agrees to meet, they embark on an extraordinary journey into a deeply repressed past. The result is a courageous and profoundly unconventional film that confronts one of society’s most difficult taboos with remarkable honesty and humanity.
